Her focus was on Choosing a Fresh Alternative; in other words releasing our habitual responses in familiar situations and doing something different. What the fuck?
Here we go again.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Let go of that shout
In your mind
Causing you unkind …..
Thoughts.
Sit with the now,
The present moment and how
That word or that deed
Activated the seed
Of your self-righteousness and hate;
Boxed you into a crate
A neural pathway paved
With thousands of reps.
Purify your karma.
Release the drama.
Sit in the fire.
Do not tire.
Choose a different response -
Nonchalance
Let it in,
Feel the grin
In your soul!
