Love Is Not A Pie

Do you ever get the idea that some people believe there is only so much love to go around? Many times this is because the person feels insecure themselves and is lacking in self-esteem. Remembering this can help us feel compassion when we encounter another who allows outside circumstances to determine their level of security and self-worth. 

Love is not a pie,
There is not a limited supply.
If you get more
I don’t get less,
Unless that’s what
I tell myself.
