Your Tribe

September 01, 2019 by Sondra Robinson

Sometimes it’s like Jack Nicholson said in A Few Good Men - “you can’t handle the truth.” If your presence, you just being you, is a trigger then your audience is not your tribe.

Are there those

Who maybe chose

To run screaming from your presence?

Luv, perhaps your essence

Scared their demons.

Left them feelin’

Unsure, ignorant and weak-

Something they were tryna speak

Over you,

Not realizing

This deep, strong, confident Boo

Was in front of them to

Light the way

Out of their own life gone astray.
